Simple Beginnings

The beginnings of Troyer Cheese Company of Millersburg, Ohio was simply a personal matter. Founded by a person who was and is faithful to the beliefs and ethics of his Amish heritage.

The Early Days

Raised in eastern Ohio, in the largest Amish population in the world, Jonas A. Troyer experienced the unity, honesty, and simple lifestyle every day. These principles became the very foundation of the Troyer Cheese Company he started over 40 years ago. The cornerstone of the company was the belief that providing quality product at a fair price would reap long lasting rewards and build an honest and worthwhile reputation.

Today, the company distributes products in more than 25 states. With growing recognition of Troyer's reputation for popular quality products at good prices and for the service it offers, each year new markets and states are added.
